We all know that it's a basic rule of the first date that you don't want to talk about religion or politics. Of course, if you like to get your differences out of the way up front, these are the two areas that are most sensitive and most important for discussion. But there is another topic on the table that people are being warned to avoid (or deal with it quickly if it's a deal breaker). and that topic is closer to the table than you might think.
Newsweek reports on the fact that a number of people are as concerned about the dieting and fitness practices of their potential partners as they are with which God they pray to and which presidential hopeful they're voting for. One of the major topics discussed in the article is the difference between being vegan and being vegetarian and how this difference can be the end of an otherwise good partnership. But health in general is an issue of concern, with people wanting to make sure that their partners exercise on a regular basis and eat healthy.
How important is your partner's diet to your decision about whether or not they are dating material?
